About Sophia

Hi everyone! I'm Sophia and I have over 6 years of experience working with kids! I started off volunteering as a counselor at Girl Scout camp at the age of 15, helping kids ages 6-13 learn outdoor and leadership skills! In addition, I worked as a camp counselor for a swim camp for 3 years during the summer. Lastly, I've worked at a day care the past 4 years, caring for children as young as 1-year-old to 12! I enjoy working with kids because it's incredibly rewarding, fun, and helps me grow both personally and socially. As a psychology major, I also love observing and supporting their development firsthand. I'm open to part-time or occasional help, and I'd love the opportunity to support the kids' routines, whether that includes playing, homework, or just being a positive role model. In my spare time, I love staying active and going to the gym, playing beach volleyball, going on adventures, and swimming in the ocean!!
