About Alexis

As a caregiver, my passion lies in nurturing the growth and development of children. With 9 years of experience, I've had the privilege of caring for up to four children, aged between 0-3, simultaneously. My calm and approachable demeanor creates a welcoming environment for both children and parents. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method, whether it's verbal at pickup, via a tablet app, or through other means. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, as I understand the importance of consistency in a child's life. My approach to childcare involves a variety of engaging activities, including educational games that promote learning, outdoor sports that encourage physical activity, and board games that foster social interaction. I am also trained in CPR and have taken coursework in early child development. Apart from caring for children, I'm happy to assist with light housekeeping tasks.
