About Alexis

I started working with kids when I was in college getting my undergraduate and graduate degree in social work. I started out as a preschool teacher and worked with ages 7 months to age 18 in various settings. I now work as a hospice social worker but still interact with children at church and love caring for them. In my spare time, I like to study since I am in Bible college. I also enjoy baking, exploring the city, and a good nature trail. One thing you should know about me is serving others is one of my gifts. I do this in my professional work and in my personal life as it brings me joy. My skills include creative play, empathy, communication, emotional regulation, routine and structure, knowledge of childhood development
