About Alexis

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in Math, English, Test Preparation, Art, and Special Education for elementary and middle school students. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how you interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your needs. I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect concepts to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is essential to building a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you reach your goals and discovering the joy of learning together.
