About Makayla

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience, I specialize in English, Science, History, and Test Preparation for elementary and middle school students. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I adapt to your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, ensuring our sessions remain engaging and supportive. I celebrate your small successes and encourage curiosity through interactive discussions. Because I believe clear communication is essential, I provide regular updates to ensure we are always working toward your goals together. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a coffee shop, I am dedicated to helping you master new skills. Seeing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is why I love what I do.
