I have always grown up with bigger dogs (both lab mixes) so since a young age I have been used to day to day needs and have been relied on by neighbors and friends to take care of their animals when they are unable to. I took care of my roommate's golden retriever daily especially when he got sick. I also take care of a friend's Pitbull mix who has a sensitive stomach and a skin condition so this includes medicated baths and special food. I also dont just watch dogs, I recently have been taking care of another friend's cat when she is traveling. Every pet is different, so I love tailoring our time together to what makes them happiest!
