Before being a nanny I was a teacher with ages ranging from infants to kindergarten. I have studied child development and have 27 ECE credits. I am also CPR and First-Aid certified for Infants/Children, Fully vaccinated

Alexis was so wonderful. We came to LA for two weeks for work and were drawn to her background. She has a wonderful personality, and her daughter was quickly drawn to her, asking where she was each day prior to her arrival. She knows all the fun parks, libraries, and other places where we were close to. She taught her daughter about nature, read to her often, and found fun activities.

Her communication was great as she sent pictures and texts throughout the day.

Alexis has been a full-time caregiver and friend to our daughter for the last year, as she's grown from a curious, fidgety 6-month old to a confident, vibrant 18-month old. She has supported her through many stages of infant/toddler development - crawling, walking, running, jumping, talking - and always seems to have another activity for our daughter's little sponge of a brain to soak up. 

Alexis has also been incredible support to our two-career household, aiding with cooking, laundry, and clean-up for the little one. We look forward to her continuing to be a part of our daughter's life, and would recommend her to any family in search of an experienced caregiver for their children!

Alexis is an awesome nanny and any family is lucky to have her. Alexis took care of our baby starting from 4 months old, for 6 hours a day Monday through Friday. During that time, Alexis has become an invaluable part of our family and daily routine: taking the baby for walks, reading to her daily, helping her practice tummy time, preparing healthy snacks and meals, and more. Alexis brings a wealth of experience: she's worked for years with children from newborn age to school age, both as a nanny and at a school, and on top of that she has taken coursework in early childhood development. When we first started working with Alexis, our baby was barely out of the newborn phase and we were anxious first-time parents - Alexis gave invaluable advice about what she has experienced with other babies in the past and even helped catch when we accidentally had our crib height too high when our baby first started rolling. As our baby grew older, she has helped us with baby ASL, baby led weaning, and Montessori methods for hands-on learning to help our baby gain confidence in new skills such as crawling and pulling to stand. More than that, Alexis has a big heart and a creative soul. She is always coming up with ideas for activities, DIY toys, Halloween costumes, baby-safe recipes and more. Finally, another aspect I want to mention we really appreciate about Alexis is her excellent communication. We have a group text message thread where Alexis keeps us constantly updated with adorable photos and important moments throughout our baby's day, which besides being heartwarming also gives us tons of peace of mind while we are away and lets us know what to expect after the work day (eg if baby is fussy, has been progressing in a new skill, has a new favorite toy of the day, etc). All in all, we have had an amazing experience with Alexis. We are sad to be losing Alexis due to moving too far away, and would highly recommend her to any family seeking a caring, skilled and communicative professional!

Alexis was great taking care of our daughter!  No screens ever and all about development and play, our child loved spending time with her, (and eating the treats she cooked as well).  As new parents she gave us plenty of ideas for different toys, books, and other items that we could bring into the home for our daughter.  I would not think twice if you are considering working with her.

Alexis was a fantastic caregiver for us. She did such great activities with our son and engaged with him in so many ways. From trips to the library to teaching him to cook to building with manga-tiles: he was never bored, We would definitely rehire her it the opportunity ever arose.

We're excited for our daughter to head to school, but so sad that her incredible year with Alexis is over.

Alexis is a champion of children's independence and development, an incredible artist, a fantastic cook, a Venice native and local expert and explorer, responsible and attentive, and a person who loves, respects, and bonds with the children she takes care of.

We cannot say enough great things about Alexis.  Alexis was our full time nanny for several months as I took on a short term job.  My kids still ask about her all the time and when she's coming to play again.  Alexis not only played games with my kids, stuck to a nap schedule and made sure they got enough physical activity, but she made everything educational, whether it be learning about bugs & trees outside or robots & animals when inside.  Alexis also cooked amazing meals for my kids and did a great job at hiding veggies and other nutrients in the food, they always asked for more.  
Again, Alexis is a true gem and any family would be so lucky to have her join their's.

Alexis was a dream! I hired her while my daughter's daycare was undergoing a renovation so she was full-time with us for two months. I have a 1 year old and she loved her. Alexis was warm, kind, and super fun. She would send photos and videos of them together all day long. My daughter always had a huge smile on her face when Alexis arrived each morning, which is very telling! She also cooked and prepared all fresh meals for her and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend her for any family.
