About Alexis

I'm a passionate educator and child care provider with decades of experience working with children in a wide range of roles including babysitting, teaching, tutoring, coaching, and mentoring. I was a certified middle school English teacher in Massachusetts and taught 4th through 6th grades for several years. I've also led enrichment classes like cooking and computer skills, and I continue to work part-time as both a tutor and college professor. In addition to my teaching experience, I was a certified lifeguard and diving coach for many years, with training in both CPR and First Aid. I bring a calm, patient, and positive energy to every interaction, and I genuinely love helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I'm currently seeking part-time work as a babysitter or tutor. Whether your child needs after-school care, homework help, or a safe and engaging presence at home, I'd love to be part of their journey.
