Hi! My name is Alexis. I am a 25-year-old Christian Mama seeking to provide love, respite, and outstanding care for your little ones! Before moving to Georgia in April 2025, I was a nanny for 3 amazing families for 4 years, who I actually found right here on care (references available)! While it was so sad leaving those families, I'm looking to partner with a new family or families in providing the same love and care *out of our own home* as I now have a sweet daughter of my own (born August 2025). I'm moving to the Athens area with my husband and daughter around December/January. I will be available then for in person interviews and meet ups to make sure we are a good fit! Oh my, when I say Alexis is an absolute Godsend. My one-year old started running a fever at 8pm, and both me and dad had can't miss workdays ahead of us. Being military, we don't have support in the area, so to care.com I went. Even though it was last minute, Alexis just happened to be online when I was looking for help and I asked her to consider watching our fussy baby in less than 12 hours. I *wholly* appreciated that her first concern was if she would actually be available and not how much I'd pay her. That little act proved her priorities and went such a long way with us. She contacted me almost immediately and imitated a conversation about my son's eating schedule, sleep schedule; and she told me more about herself to and ensure I was comfortable with this set up, even though it was last minute. Even though there was a sense of urgency, she never rushed me and let me take my time. Let me tell you. She beat us to dad's house and was ready to go! I literally laid my stuff down and felt 100% confident walking away from my sick baby. This has only happened one other time since I've become a mother three years ago. She was ready to use her nursing background to administer medicine, check temps, and recommend best treatment if necessary. I told her to call if she had any concerns. I never got a call at work and was able to focus on my tasks at hand. I followed up with dad and he said he was so impressed, he paid her extra to entice her to help us out again in the future. You will not regret hiring Alexis (and I'm totally keeping her in my hip pocket for future crises!)
