About Abby

I earned my Masters in Social Work from UGA in 2000. From there, I began employment as a Primary Counselor at a therapeutic boarding school. When my students graduated two years later, I joined the family business of children's entertainment and have been LOVING it ever since! From August 2010 until August 2013 I enjoyed being a nanny for a little girl in Fayetteville, Georgia. I was with her from the age of 9 to 12. Later in 2013, I began a nanny position for a wonderful 2-year-old little boy in Griffin and continue to enjoy time with them. In September 2016, I began a nanny position for a little 18-month-old boy in Fayetteville who moved to Decatur. I was with him until 10 (February 2025). I now have 1 great nanny job 6 hours a week in Watkinsville and am looking for another position for about 10 hours a week. Thank you for your consideration!

Abby came into our family at such a meaningful and important time—right as we were preparing to welcome our second child—and we truly cannot say enough good things about her. She was absolutely wonderful with our son, always engaging, patient, and attentive. She took him on walks, to the library, and made sure his days were filled with fun, structure, and care. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands during a big transition for our family. Abby is dependable, kind, and has such a natural way with children. The only reason our needs changed is because we ultimately required more full-time care, but we are so grateful for the time she was with us. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
