I have 2 years of experience interning at various elementary schools in the lockhart area while in highschool. I left highschool with a 3. 3 GPA. Shortly after I began working for the lockhart school district as a special education aide in a elementary school. There I supported children with their daily schedules and provided assistance both in and out of the classroom for students and staff. My responsibilities included completing daily tasks such as necessary hand feedings, personal care changes, and one-on-one support. I also created documented notes regarding children's progress and participated in off-campus field trips. Additionally, I completed all mandatory specialty and medical training sessions. I left with a certification in CPR and seizure training as well as knowledge of children and they're respective needs.
