About Alexia

I'd describe my personality as curious, passionate, and sensitive! I like working with kids because they are always curious and eager to learn more about the world and themselves! Working with children has taught me patience and has strengthened my emotional intelligence; their creativity and explorative imaginations inspire me to remain ambitious and true to myself! I've been caring for children since I was a high school student! In my spare time, I like to discover new music, watch new shows and movies, engage in arts and crafts, and spend time outdoors! My skills include patience and emotional regulation, communication and active listening, and cultural competence. (I would also like to note that my younger sibling has AuDHD, and though I am not her full-time caretaker, I am well versed in supporting her day-to-day needs, and have experience in regulating her emotions in times of distress)
