I like caring for seniors because they can teach you things in life that you may not know about or just showing them that someone is there for them to help and talk. I started caring for seniors when I was out of high school. My grandparents would spend summers with my parents and I would always help with them whenever I could but also as the years went on I would help with my grandma and her dementia. One thing you should know about me is that they will never have to worry about their loved one being badly treated. I have a soft spot for seniors and will give them all the time in the world to make their day. Taking care of them would be like taking care of my family and they'll be treated with kindness and respect even if they aren't huge fans of me. My skills include patience, compassion, flexibility. Also being an active listener I'll notice when my patient isn't comfortable or needs somethings.
