About Alex

Hi! My name is Alex, I'm 27 years old and originally from Nicaragua. I have over 3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children. I started working at a Spanish immersion center in a Preschool classroom for a year and a half, and later worked a few months in Pre-K. Currently, I am a teacher in a Preschool classroom. I have experience with potty training, implementing the Kindness Curriculum, supporting fine motor skills for early writing, and promoting gross motor development through movement and dance. I also enjoy encouraging reading, especially in bilingual environments (Spanish and English). I am responsible, patient, caring, and creative, and I truly enjoy supporting children's growth and development in a safe and positive environment. Also mention that I have my Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate focused on Preschool ages and my CPR and First Aid certified.
