About Alexa

Helloo! My name is Alexa, a 21-year-old Social Work student from the North Shore entering my senior year at Salem State University! I have 4 years of experience working with children of all ages with my current role as a Behavior Technician, where I support children with ASD & ADHD. I've always been passionate about working with kids, and caregiving has always felt very natural to me. I'm patient, nurturing, reliable, and very understanding of how different every child can be. I really value creating a safe and loving environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. I love doing arts and crafts, outdoor play, music, reading, sensory activities, and finding creative ways to make learning fun through play. I am CPR, StrongStart and EpiPen certified, have a valid driver's license and as well as an insured car, and am verycomfortable helping with meals, light housekeeping, homework, and transportation to activities.
