In addition to 15+ years of babysitting experience, I worked for two summers as an assistant daycare teacher - rotating among the infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K classrooms. This gave me a strong foundation in age-appropriate care, routines, safety, and developmental play. I also have extensive experience caring for my siblings' and cousins' children. I've provided overnight care for infants as young as 1-week-old, and I'm very comfortable with feedings, diapering, soothing, and sleep routines. I'm an active and engaged caregiver who loves creative play, art projects, and keeping kids moving through fun, hands-on activities. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn and play. Avigail has been a lifesaver this summer. Taking care of a two-and-a-half-year-old requires a lot of patience, and she handles everything with complete calm and confidence. She is incredibly attentive to routines, safety-conscious, and highly professional. We trust her completely and appreciate her flexibility and easy-going nature. She spent hours of quality time with our child. Since we don’t really use electronics, she was wonderful at engaging her in art, puzzles, reading, outside play, and walks. We have a rather hectic house and there are always at least one or two adults around. Abigail managed to fit right in and was comfortable with us in the house and that’s difficult for a lot of people. I know it always was for me when I was a nanny in college. She was comfortable with it from the beginning It was a wonderful experience, and we feel super lucky to have had her. We hope she will be happy to help us again occasionally. I cannot say enough how grateful we are for her help.
