About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alex, and I am seeking a nanny/family assistant position. I love helping households run smoothly and providing parents with the peace of mind that comes from having an experienced, educated, and caring nanny to look after their children. I spent five years working as an elementary special education teaching assistant. I am certified in therapeutic crisis intervention and am fingerprinted with the New York State Department of Education. I have a passion for working with children who face social and emotional challenges, as well as with autistic children across all levels of the spectrum. As a CIA-trained chef, I also teach cooking classes to youth. I enjoy getting children involved in the kitchen and encouraging them to try new foods! I take pleasure in grocery shopping, meal prepping, and cooking for families. I have experience caring for babies and children of all ages, and I can provide references from families I have worked with upon request.
