I have availability to add to occasional babysitting families. My rate is $30/hour. I live in Ballston Spa but will be moving to downtown Saratoga in September. My experience inside and outside the classroom has deepened my understanding of children's needs. Before teaching special education, I worked as a live-in and live-out nanny for a family with three children. Currently, I'm taking a break from the classroom to pursue other passions while staying connected to children through babysitting, tutoring, and volunteering. I am CPR certified, drive a reliable CRV, and can provide references outside of Care. com. I prefer a screen-free environment while caring for children and keep my phone away, except for essential parent communication and kid-friendly music on Spotify. I work full time selling software (quite the turn from teaching, I know!) and still babysit part time because I truly enjoy children and being connected with families.

Fiona is an absolute joy! We hired her a few times to watch our infant daughter. Fiona was really patient, sweet and kind with her. Fiona truly spends time and engages with children - making them feel comfortable and ensuring they have fun!
