If you're on this site, you know that caring for a child means mentally balancing a seemingly infinite number of things in the environment - the child's safety, household chores, preparing meals, caring for pets, etc. Alexa mentally and physically balances these things with such finesse that she makes Mary Poppins look like an amateur. Alexa is incredibly considerate and honest - a few times, she'd had an (unpreventable) possible exposure to COVID - and note that we have an immune compromised family member in the house - and she immediately let us know, and worked with us to quickly establish a plan for testing (tests were always negative). She's been incredibly coach-able and agreeable to our own parenting-strategy preferences. When the kiddo is napping, she knocks out so many chores that we finally feel like we can devote our evenings to actual rest and relaxation. Would definitely recommend. Also, her carrot cake is a spiritual experience.
