About Alexandra

I started babysitting at 11, and I've continued to pretty regularly over the last 12 years. I have four younger siblings and am an aunt of young kids, and time with little ones always makes me happy. I value patience and kindness and practice that with whoever I'm caring for! I love time outside, playing games, and doing arts and crafts with the younger kids. I'm adaptable as they get older, and can meet each one where they're at to understand their needs. I also have experience working with the elderly, and spent a year at a memory care facility (specialized in Alzheimer's and Dementia) as a care partner. I found that working with people at the end of their timeline could be surprisingly similar to working with children. In this way, the job taught me some valuable lessons about caring for both.
