About Alexandra

Hello my name is Ali and I have over 10 years of experience working with and caring for children in both classroom settings and family homes. Professionally, I worked as a general education teacher in early years kindergarten and 1st grade at an international school abroad, and I currently teach special education kindergarten in an intensive services classroom. Through these experiences, I have worked with students of diverse learning abilities and support needs. I am passionate about helping students learn the academic, functional, and social-emotional skills they need to reach their full potential and meet their goals. I especially enjoy supporting students with disabilities in developing functional and self-help skills, including behavior coping strategies, communication, feeding, independence, and daily living skills that help improve their quality of life and confidence.
