I have been caring for infants and young children since I was about 10 years old. I have experience with children aged newborn to 14 years, and have worked in the capacity of everything from an occasional baby sitter to a nanny. I have a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology and have worked as a Developmental Psychologist with early intervention. I have also worked as a preschool teacher at a non-profit organization that practices the nurtured heart approach with young children. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have three children of my own (5, 11, and 13 years old).

Alexandra (Lexi) would be a fantastic caregiver to your little one. She has experience with a wide range of children with varying needs. Lexi started taking care of our baby when he was 3.5 months old. She intuitively knew how to read his cues and respond appropriately. Although she likely parents her own children in her style, she was very thoughtful to ask about our preferences. She is always on time and communicative about things that happened during the day. When the baby is awake, she is fully present with him. She is thoughtful about engaging him physically and cognitively. When the baby is asleep, she is very willing to get other things done around the house (e.g., dishes, laundry). We have had a great experience working with Lexi. It's not easy to leave your young baby with someone else, but Lexi made the transition back to work very smooth. I would recommend her without hesitation.
