About Alexandra

Hi! I am currently in school pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at USF. I found a love for working with children in volunteer work throughout college as a health educator, counselor, and work in autism research. In nannying, I love to work along a flexible structured day. My most recent family had children between 5 and 8 years old, and we split the day into periods for learning, creativity, outside exploration, reading, and quiet time. I love to encourage and teach early readers, explore the natural world, and promote a love for lifelong learning. I can lesson and craft plan for various ages, which I customize to family preferences and individual child needs. I believe in teaching healthy coping mechanisms for emotional regulation and improving communication skills. I am happy to aid in transporting children as well as housework, meal prep, cooking, and pet sitting. In addition, I am CPR certified, currently work as a mental health counselor, and fully vaccinated.
