About Alexandra

I started working with children as a swim lesson instructor when I was 17. I really enjoyed teaching a skill that carries throughout life. I was amazed at how much I enjoyed seeing them succeed and how much enjoyment they got from learning to swim. I worked for two years at the YMCA teaching preschool classes for their summer enrichment program. I taught art classes, gym classes, swim lessons, healthy cooking and soccer classes for children 2-8. This is my favorite age to work with because of the child' s ability to absorb. I love being a part of their exploration and creativity. While at the YMCA, I often babysat for children from my classes, taking them to other summer activities, cooking for them and playing with them. In 2011 I moved to CO with my now husband and 2 dogs. While there I earned my yoga and massage therapy certifications, as well as discovered a deeper love for the outdoors. Currently, I am back in WI and preparing to have a baby of my own in October. I am a yoga instructor for adults, elementary age, and preschool children. I would love the chance to get to know your child, or children and be a positive part of their lives as well as your family. I come armed with a binder full of age appropriate games, activities, projects and healthy snacks and meals. I am CPR, First Aid certified In my free time I love to run, ride my bike, draw, craft, and ride my horse. I can't wait to hear from you.
