About Alexandra

My name is Alexandra and I am 26 years old and a graduate of Middlebury College. Originally from Maine, I now live in Cobble Hill and have been in New York for the past 4 years. I've worked as a nanny, babysitter, and Red Cross certified swim instructor for the past 10 years. I am an after school teacher at Saint Ann's School and a freelance writer, so I have flexible availability. To share a bit more about my interests, I love being outside, baking, and crafting and love to share those passions with kids. I have also worked as a tutor in writing, Spanish, math, geography, and other subjects and would be happy to tutor in addition to childcare work! I'd describe my personality as open, nurturing, and gregarious. I started working with kids when I started teaching swim lessons at age 14. In my spare time, I like to listen to podcasts, go for walks, runs, and hikes, knit, write, and cook with friends.
