About Naima

My methodology in childcare incorporates a balance between teaching discipline and having fun, all while learning open communication. I am present, patient, and enjoy exploring new enriching activities that can cultivate the child's imagination, and enhance their development. I am an athlete and would love to share my love of sports with kids. I was captain of both varsity basketball and tennis in high school and share the same leadership principles that I learned with the kids I baby-sit. My past childcare experience varies from being a fulltime nanny to a newborn and a toddler siblings to being a kindergarten teacher assistant, a volunteer at an elementary school helping underprivileged kids learn how to read and write, and a camp counselor for a brief time. In the past, I've handled homework help, tutoring, pick-ups, and drop-offs, meal prep, arts and crafts, Tennis/Basketball/Swimming lessons, and outdoor excursions.
