Hello families! A little about me: I'm 37, have ~15 years total experience with children. This includes lead teaching, assistant teaching, time as a behavior tech, au pair, babysitting experience, etc. My one flaw is I don't drive! But am well-versed in public transportation. I have a MSc in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked a lot with special education students, though my most recent experience was in preschool with primary Gen Ed children. And I loved it! 9 months-3 years is my ideal age range at this time in life, as I take a step back from the classroom. I have a pretty flexible approach to childcare, discipline, education, etc. While I will follow any family rules, I generally view "misbehaving" as a form of communication and am more concerned with figuring out what the child actually needs. I also like to let kids take the lead in their explorations, and really be more of a guide, providing help, prompts or ideas when necessary. I can provide LOTS of references!
