I began babysitting during the year of 2004, and cared for kids from ages 3-11. Over the years I have become more experienced, wiser and come to realize that I want to incorporate childcare into my career choice. My most recent jobs as a care giver include taking care of my niece when she was 6 months old(she is now 2 and 1/2 years old)on occasion up until present day. From February-May of 2017 I cared for an 8-month-old, and a 4-year-old. My duties included taking them to a nearby park, utilizing books, puzzles and games to promote development. From 2009-2012 I volunteered at Church for their Friday Night Kidz Klub Program. This included: caring for special needs children and/or their siblings, playing games, arts and crafts, and interacting with them on the playground. In February 2017- May 2017, I attended a Tutoring Elementary Students in Reading class at Folsom Lake College which required 45 hours of tutoring individual students at a local Elementary school.
