About Alessia

Hi! My name is Lacey and I'm a versatile tutor with experience across a wide range of subjects, including art, history, English, science, and math with a speciality in essay writing and editing. Most recently, I worked as a K-8 special education paraprofessional, where I supported neurodiverse students and adapted lessons to meet their unique needs, in addition to providing support to any other students who required it. This background has given me the skills to explain concepts in multiple ways until they click, making learning accessible and effective for every student. I've also tutored high school students in the past, helping them gain knowledge, confidence and college acceptance letters! I focus on building strong, supportive relationships so students feel comfortable taking academic risks. My goal is to make learning engaging while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. No matter the subject or grade level, I help students believe in their ability to succeed.
