Alex is highly professional. She worked with us to adjust our daughter's daytime nap schedule, which greatly improved her nighttime sleep. Our daughter now sleeps 9 hours through the night at just 9 months old! Alex also helped alleviate our daughter's frequent constipation with a baby food recipe that worked wonders.

Moreover, Alex is exceptionally considerate. When my wife had a health issue and couldn't care for our daughter while I was traveling, Alex volunteered to stay overnight to help.

We would definitely rehire Alex for any future childcare needs.

Alex is incredibly loving, kind, and patient with our daughter. She has been with our family, as part of a nanny-share, since our daughter was around 8 months old. She has a warm communication style and treats our daughter with lots love and calm energy. When we first started, our daughter refused to take the bottle with anyone and Alex was incredibly dedicated to brainstorming solutions and taking the time to work through this challenging situation with both parents. Alex's persistence paid off and our daughter soon was taking the bottle with her. As our daughter has gotten older, Alex has adjusted her style with our daughter's growing needs. We particularly appreciate how she'll try creative ways to help her calm down or teach her new skills. We have loved our time with Alex!

Alessandra has been the full time nanny for our now 10 month old grandchild for the past 6 months.  In sum, she has been wonderful.  Alessandra has lots of experience and skills in working with newborns and toddlers, and we have been extremely impressed with her common sense, calmness, and warm care and age appropriate play.  She is a good communicator and easy to work with, and in fact we are continuing with a nanny share because of the value and nurturing she continues to provide for our grandson.

Alex was great!  We hired her to babysit our 2 year old twins for two nights while we were in Seattle visiting friends.  She was on time and had the kids packed up and off to the park within 15 minutes of getting to our rental home.  Kids had fun with her and they were definitely excited to see her the second night.  Alex is an obvious professional, and comes highly recommended.

Alex is super! She was our nanny for 1.5 years, we moved to Portland, otherwise she'd still be working for us! I really learned from her that I needed to relax and laugh with my daughter. She doesn't get upset at all the things my daughter does that drive me crazy! She was dependable, energetic, full of ideas and a great cook. I really appreciated her intelligence, maturity, and easy going friendliness. She is a natural with both kids and pets. Great experience!

Alex was our nanny for almost 5 years, from 2002-2007. When my husband and I got married, we each had 2 children, so we had a Brady Bunch kinda thing going on. Our girls were 1.5 & 3, our boys were 11 & 13. One of the most wonderful things about Alex is that she is both tender and tough. Our girls bonded immediately with her, and the boys liked and respected her (a minor miracle!). She always treated them with love and care, but she didn't let them (the boys especially) give her any attitude. So refreshing! She took them skating, sledding, to the movies, out to lunch, all sorts of fun things- all the time. She has a ton of energy. All of our children still talk to her. My son left for the UW this August, and she picked him up at the airport, drove him to his dorm, and took him out to show him around his neighborhood. I am so glad she was and continues to be part of our lives!

I couldn't recommend Alex more highly! I only needed part time care, and she was looking for full time work, but after interviewing several potential nannies she was so far ahead of the pack that I asked her if she would be willing to work evenings and weekends occasionally for me. I'm happy to say she agreed and has been working for my family for over 2 years. She is extremely loving and patient with my children- they absolutely adore her! She is an excellent cook, always has lots of books and games with her, and actively engages with my children in all sorts of play and different activities. She has become an extended member of our family! She is completely trustworthy, reliable, and entertaining. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Alex has been with our family, full-time for the past 1.5 years. She is incredibly enjoyable to work with and is truly part of our family. She can be counted on to take great care of our daughter (who is now 2),as well as our family dog. Alex also goes out of her way to help with the household chores, prepare (fabulous) meals, and is available for housesitting! Above all else, she is caring, fun, and dependable. I am more than happy to be available for a phone or written reference.

Alex spent a couple of hours with us when she came to interview in person. I found her to be very warm: she instantly held my son, hugged him and played with him. She is very open, friendly, active and flexible in terms of the working arrangements. We enjoyed meeting Alex and while we ended up moving forward with another care provider, I hope that she will find a great fit with another family
