About Alessandra

Hello!! My name is Alessandra and I'm looking to help a family where I can! I have over 10 years of childcare experince. I spent 6 years working as a behavior therapist and have extensive experience with special needs, especially Autism, Down Syndrome, and ADHD. I am working part time as a student therapist while in grad school. I have experience with crisis prevention, intervention, and response for those with intellectual/ developmental disabilities and am trauma-informed. I have spent the past several years working in the mental health field and have experience supporting individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. In my spare time, I like to swim, explore the outdoors, DIY projects, and trying out new recipes! My skills include CPR / First Aid certified, extensive experience with special needs, and able to care for more than one individual at once. I also have a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record. References available upon request.
