About Aleaha

In the summer of 2022, I stepped in as the primary caregiver for my grandfather after he broke his ankle & moved in with my family. I spent three months supporting him -- cooking, managing his medical appointments, coordinating his disability leave, sorting medications, helping with laundry and errands, and making sure he was emotionally and physically cared for. It deepened a lifelong love I've had for spending time with elders -- a love first shaped by my late grandmother, my favorite person in the world, who taught me the value of books, film, and music. I currently work in book publishing and am looking for part-time companionship opportunities where I can offer presence, conversation, and support. I'm warm, welcoming, talkative (I've been told I don't meet a stranger!), and enjoy movies, books, music, and hearing about people's lives. If your loved one could use kind, grounded company -- whether for conversation, errands, or quiet time -- I'd be honored to show up for them.
