I am 34 years old and have been babysitting since I can remember. I was certified in CPR and First Aid, speak Spanish, American Sign Language, and English, and have a wide array of skills when it comes to taking care of children. I have watched autistic children and had to deal with working with overcoming obstacles such as speech therapy, taking them to Children's Hospital for regular doctor visits, making sure the correct medicine was given, and then the regular school and home life activities such as bathing them, laundry, cooking and cleaning, helping with school homework, etc. I graduated from CSUN with my bachelor's in Deaf Studies and went to Pepperdine University for my master's in Education. I also worked as a behavior therapist working with children on the spectrum as a one-on-one in the classroom and at home. I am a certified teacher but am taking a break.
