About Alana

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With three years of experience, I specialize in English, Business, and essential study skills for elementary and middle school students. I foster confidence by creating a patient, engaging environment where complex problems become manageable steps. I assess your learning style by observing how you interact with new material, then adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion. I believe clear communication is vital to building the trust necessary for your success. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am comfortable working in your home, at a local library, or online to ensure you feel supported. I truly look forward to helping you reach your academic goals and discovering a genuine love for learning together.
