About Alaire

Hi! I go by Glen! I'm a nanny, former preschool teacher, and community organizer, passionate about creating a better world by loving on by helping raise kind and brave children. I have over 15 years of childcare experience, most of which has been nannying. I've also worked in violence prevention with elementary kids, as a preschool teacher for 1. 5-2. 5-year-olds, and as a behavior tech for an applied behavioral therapist for kids on the spectrum. I spent the last year with 2 infants, who are now toddlers! I've received a lot of training on first aid, trauma-informed care, social emotional learning, and early childhood education. I'm great at soothing, sensory exploration and play, building gross and fine motor skills, establishing and maintaining clear and compassionate boundaries, teaching bodily autonomy/consent, and supporting language development. I work to create a fun environment where kids of all ages feel safe to explore who they are, how they feel and their world!
