Hi, my name is Akosua, and I'm so glad to e-meet you! I've been a part of Care. com since 2016 and originally stepped away to pursue my career in public health and the corporate world. After gaining valuable experience (and a lot of perspective), I'm excited to return to caregiving because I truly missed the human and animal connection that comes with this work. I'm originally from Las Vegas and moved to the DMV area about a year ago. I'm CPR certified and hold both a Bachelor's degree in Community Health Sciences and a Master's in Public Health. I genuinely love working with children and animals, and caregiving has always been something that feels natural and fulfilling to me.
