About Akia

Hello there! My name is Akia , I was born in Georgetown ,Guyana, and have lived in the US for 10 years. I graduated high school in 2020 and also started attending college at Umass Dartmouth. I am an older sister and also a stepsister to 2. Some of my hobbies include baking, cooking, spending time with family, and traveling. I am a dependable, eager, and loving caregiver with a passion for providing care and maintaining safety. I have cared for children ages 3 months through age 11 for 7 years in multiple spaces such as classrooms, daycares, and in the comfort of their homes. My objective is to provide a family/families with a helpful and loving addition to their unit, as well as nurture the children's mental, physical, and emotional development in partnership with parents.
