Hi, I'm AJ! I've worked as a babysitter, swim instructor, and preschool teacher and am comfortable working with all ages. I own a reliable '17 Chevy Cruze and would be comfortable making short drives with children such as to and from school or daycare, to the library, or to the beach during summer. I take a responsive-parenting approach to childcare, where questions are answered and any consequences make sense, i. e. no "because I said so," no time-outs, and no punishments. In my free time, I like to read, craft, watch musicals, play with my dog, Titus, and my cat, Maude, and collect jewelry. I'm comfortable working with families with multiple children, children with special needs, and families with pets. My preferred rates are listed on my profile, however, I am open to adjusting my rates based on your family's needs. I am currently in the process of earning my First-Aid/CPR certification.
