About Aizpea

Hi there! My name is Aizpea :) I'm a trained doula with 12 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers and adolescents. I graduated with BA in Psychology, focused on developmental psychology. Following undergrad I worked in social services with children and families alongside clinicians providing in home mental health and support services. After working in social services I transitioned to working in research in maternal health, combining my background in psychology research in addition to my training and experience as a doula. Currently, I am applying to PhD programs and looking to get back into childcare full time. I'm very passionate about working with children, particularly supporting them through important developmental milestones and expanding their worlds and self concept through reading, physical activity and art!
