I worked as a Clinical Technician for 1 year and 3 months in a Cardiac Telemetry/ Med Surg Unit. During my time there many of our patients had history of dementia, alzheimer's, mobility deficits, etc. I assisted with ADL's including bathing (mostly bed bound), oral care, and feeding. I also offered companionship as needed. My patients really made a huge impact on my want to work in healthcare, and a huge emotional grip on me as well. I still remember many stories as well as names that I will forever cherish!
