About Aisha

I'd describe myself as empathetic, reliable and competent. I enjoy working with kids as they inspire me to see the world from a different perspective. I started working with kids at 13, as a regular babysitter for 2 girls (5 and 8). Later, I became a teacher's aide at a charter school for learning disabled children. Following that, I taught science classes to grades K-8 at a science museum where I also taught badges for boy and girl scouts and led summer camps. A fun fact about me is I am very passionate about wildlife conservation as that is the focus of my educational background so I love sharing stories about animals and field adventures I've been on. I'm good at cooking/baking with kids, getting them outside and helping with their homework. I am also very safety minded and always look after the kids in my care as if they're my own.
