About Aisha

Youth work and childcare are true passions of mine! I've had many childcare experiences in many different settings, no matter whether it looks caring for my younger family members, running after-school programs, or being a fulltime preschool teacher, my goal is to be kind and reaffirming with children of all ages. Strengths of mine include redirection, de-escalation, and helping your young one(s) understand and learn about their emotions! I graduated from the University of Minnesota on 2019 with a B. A. in Child Psychology and African American Studies and have tried to dedicate myself to furthering children both inside and outside of my community. I'm excited to further this learning in the fall when I begin a MSW program at St. Catherine University!
