I'd describe my personality as patient, whimsical, and curious! I like working with kids because they remind me of what's most important in this world; which is caring for others. I believe it's up to us adults to foster their joy and love for others into empathy and kindness. I'm looking for a job that is in the hours of 9-5, in the Seattle area, and a family that is warm and inviting! I started working with kids when I was 14 In my spare time, I am an opera singer. I am involved in live performance. One thing you should know about me is I am very creative with children. I love to come up with imaginative games, and skits, and anything musical or theatrical. I also love to incorporate learning numbers and letters into games. My skills include handling meltdowns and identifying reasons for the tears. Children cry for many reasons, and I think it's important to identify the social and emotional aspects of a child's big feelings when deciding how to help them work through it.
