I will love them while you are gone! Just ask my Granddog Pete, and my Grandcat Bruce! Or my friends' boy, or many of the other pets I've cared for! I've been a companion to a woman for almost 8 years who will be 99 in August. Unfortunately, she has entered assisted living as her care needs are now 24 hours a day. I took care of her medical needs, as well as helping her with many things such as helping her with Christmas Cards, paying bills, fixing dinner (mostly we would go out to eat). During the pandemic, I did all her shopping and did very light house cleaning. We stopped getting our nails done because of the pandemic and I would do her toes and finger nails! I'm no expert at it though! ! We laughed all the time! I will still visit her, as we are very close!
