About Addie

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, fun. I like working with kids because I enjoy meeting the unique needs of early childhood and the wonder it brings. I'm looking for a job that is fairly flexible, but would still like to be able to build connections with children and families. I started working with kids when I was 18. I was a nanny during summers when I was in college. After graduating, I worked in a toddler room at a childcare center for 2 years. Then I went to grad school and earned my Masters and teaching license. I taught Kindergarten for the West Linn Wilsonville School District for 11 years. My last position was teaching preschool for Childswork Learning Center for 4 years. In my spare time, I like to read, garden, and craft with my two children. My skills include assisting with emotional regulation, planning developmentally appropriate activities, and bringing warmth and joy to my work.
