In 2010, after going through a thorough INTERPOL background check process, I became a foster mom of an 18 month infant. His mother and father had problems with the law and the two grandmothers were unable to care for the infant. It was a very rewarding experience. He was very happy and willing to engage with me, my daughter, and my friends. He liked to read and play and improved greatly in the learning of things and animals. He enjoyed going to the zoo and the aquarium. The case worker assigned to the case came to my house on regular basis and was very happy to see the child well adjusted. I was asked to care for another child after my foster child was reunited with his family.
