About Abigail

I've worked for the Boys and Girls Club Future Forward program, which is designed to strengthen early literacy skills for kindergarten-2nd grade students. I assessed students' needs, developed fun lesson plans to meet their reading and writing goals, and tracked their progress over time. I've also facilitated private tutoring lessons for German language learning. I've studied German for many years and lived in Germany for 8 months during a study abroad excursion, during which time I earned a German language certificate. I assess students' level of proficiency and develop language learning activities, games, projects, and assignments to familiarize them with important terms and grammatical structures. I am good with working one-on-one to give lessons individually designed to meet specific content areas.
