About Abigail

Hi! I'm Abby, a teaching student at Arizona State University. I am currently pursuing a degree in Secondary Education (Mathematics), and am going into my junior year. I have 3 years of experience tutoring and teaching K-12 and college students math at all levels. I'm passionate about helping my students learn better strategies to understand mathematical concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. The key to success in math is building good numerical sense and problem solving skills! I also love showing students the real life applications of what they learn in math class. My hobbies are playing drums and learning languages (both of which are much more mathematical than they seem!).
