About Abigail

My name is Abby, and I am a graduate student in occupational therapy school. I have 4 years of childcare experience with children aged 18 months to 9. I have 5 siblings, and I love dancing, reading, and yoga. With diverse experience in healthcare, education, and volunteering, I bring a compassionate and motivated approach to caregiving. Through my role as a Tutor for ACES Institute, I have cultivated my ability to foster trusting relationships with children and adapt to their unique needs. My time at a pediatric therapy clinic and my work with children with developmental disabilities have taught me how to support diverse needs, encouraging social, emotional, and cognitive growth. My role as a lead for an adaptive athletics program allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills. Supporting child athletes with disabilities taught me the importance of empowerment. I am passionate about creating a supportive and fun environment where children can thrive.
