Hello! I have 6+ years of experience working with seniors in a range of environments and needs from a nursing home setting, rehabilitation, home health care to working exclusively and privately as a Primary Care Giver for one client. Through my experience I have found that home health care provides the one-on-one setting for care that I am truly passionate about! I am eager to provide a quality of life for your loved ones and put your mind at ease knowing they are getting absolute quality care. I have a very positive and encouraging personality and am very personable. I do well making my clients feel at ease and I am practiced at assessing each client to learn their needs and meet them in reassuring manner. I know it is very important that they not feel their needs are a burden to those assisting. I have experience with many types of care and am confident I can be trained to your loved one's specific needs with ease! Most recently, I was employed privately as a Primary Care Giver for one client. For this client, I coordinated the care of another home health agency as well as hospice to work outside of my hours, took care of all medication changes and records along with dispensing. I maintained her home by scheduling any home repairs as well as the day to day maintenance. I scheduled and transported her to any and all appointments. I assisted her with all of the basic day to day needs such as grocery/supply shopping, meal prep, toileting and bathing. I kept daily progress notes of any behavioral or physical changes and communicated daily with family and power of attorney for what I refer to as "seamless care"- keeping everyone on the same page and in the loop with the happenings of their loved one!
